Pre-Wedding
12 Best Pre-Wedding Shoot Locations in Ahmedabad (2026 Guide)
Every week, couples ask us the same first question: "Where should we shoot?" After a hundred-plus pre-wedding shoots across the city, here's our working shortlist — the places we keep coming back to, and exactly when the light is worth it.
Heritage & architecture
- Adalaj-style stepwells — carved stone, dramatic shafts of light, and natural frames everywhere. Go at opening time on a weekday; by 10am the light gets harsh and the crowds arrive.
- Old city pols — painted doors, carved wooden facades and narrow lanes that glow in morning light. Perfect for traditional outfits.
- Sarkhej Roza — arches, jaalis and a still water tank. Late afternoon is magic here.
Nature & open spaces
- Sabarmati Riverfront — the classic. The lower promenade at sunset gives you water, sky and city in one frame. Weekday evenings are far quieter.
- Parimal Garden & Law Garden greens — lush, easy to access, great for casual outfits and candid walking shots.
- Farm venues on the outskirts — mustard fields, rustic barns and zero crowd control needed. Best November to February.
Urban & modern
- Atal Bridge at blue hour — the LED-lit pedestrian bridge makes a striking modern backdrop just after sunset.
- Cafés and bookstores — for couples who'd rather look like themselves than models. We have 3–4 partner cafés that allow shoots before opening hours.
Permissions matter: heritage sites and managed gardens often need photography permits or entry fees. When you book with us, we tell you exactly what's needed for your shortlist — no surprises on shoot day.
How to choose between them
Pick locations by outfit, not popularity. Traditional wear sings at stepwells and pols; western outfits suit the riverfront, cafés and farms. We recommend two locations max in a day — one sunrise, one sunset — so you're never shooting in flat noon light.
